Sewing room changes

I had planned on spending time in the sewing room today, this morning I was in there my mind wondering like it does and I thought I need shelves. we have an old tall bookcase, that wasn't really doing much, I called hubby he's at home today because of Easter. told him my thoughts, the next thing I know he's taking things off the bookcase to move it, things don't normally happen this quick so I wasn't about to stop him.

Here's part of it, I said it was tall, my fabric folded, now it's out on display I can watch it grow as I add to it.

I have moved things about on it a few times and settled for where things are for now, but I am thinking it is looking a bit dark, but I can fix that, and it needs to be made pretty so this won't be the last time you see it.

Hopefully I will still get some sewing done today.
Bye for now

well that does look nice and tidy Shirley and I must say I like an open unit so you can see everything at a glance. I like the big basket. Will you use that for yarn?

keep well

It's lovely when things happen like that, your open shelves look fab and like Amanda I love your big basket. xx

Everything looks so neat. I'm afraid I would need doors to hide everything because I am a messy person. Wondering what you are going to do to the bookcase? Excited to see.

so great when the Hubby gets up and follows your thoughts.. the shelving looks great... I like the idea of the books inside a box/basket... stops them falling all over...

What a lovely addition to the sewing room. Hubby was very accommodating.

Love the idea of using the bookcase, can't wait to see what you are going to do to brighten it up. x
