Table revamp

Craft Snippet N°7

As you know I've not been in my sewing room very long, and the table was new, cheap but new, thing is it hasn't been standing up to the wear and tear that I am able to throw at it, so something had to be done.

It didn't take very long and even better it was free (my favourite price) I used the oil cloth I won from the giveaway at Dotty Brown fabrics hosted by Simply homemade website.

Apart from the fact the table needed it, I am pleased with the result even if it did feel a bit weird revamping something that is just a couple of weeks old. One the real plus side I now how a colour scheme for the sewing room, because although I am in there, it still needs decorating, my walls were always going to be white but now I know what colours I am looking for when it comes to a blind and fabrics to make things to go in there.

Plastic made pretty

Snippet Day 4

I know plastic storage boxes are really useful but lets face it pretty is not something we can't call them, A few months ago, I sorted my threads into 5 boxes I don't have all the colours but I am working on it. but when I want a colour I know where to look for it, which is a big plus. Moving into my sewing room has been great, but I do need do pretty things up a bit so today I set about making some of that happen. 

First 5 labels were stitched. 

Then added pretty paper, mission accomplished.
