Colours of a butterfly

My little colours of a butterfly wall hanging is very nearly finished, all I have do is put something on the back , when I get something to hang it with.

It's the first time I have really designed something myself, it changed a few times as I went along, I tried to fit in a few different things, cross stitch, applique, patchwork and for want of a better word rustic hand quilting, some might call it not very even hand quilting but I'm going with rustic, I feel like being kind to myself.

I am looking forward to when it's up in my sewing room.

I off to play with a picture of it and make it the header of the blog, that is if I can get it to look right.

Bye for now

Your picture looks lovely, Shirley, and well done for finding out how to put it as the blog heading!! I haven't had an opportunity to find out how to do things like that (yet), it looks great!

Hello Shirley,

Great blog header, very effective. The butterfly stands out very well. I love the way you have represented several different crafts by using different methods and materials on your wall hanging.

I want to change my blog header too but it took me so long to get that image on it and the right size that I need a bit more motivation to find the time to change it.

Many thanks for your comments on my previous posts and I am always delighted that you find time to visit.

keep well

Amanda :-)

That is lovely!! I'm not sure I'd know how to make a picture of mine become my 'header' for my blog! Not very techy minded as far as the computer is concerned!! :)
