I started these guys on 11th January and today I have finished the cross stitch side of things
These are from an old cross stitch, I knew where I first saw them I wanted to stitch them.
I did this little guy first
Followed by this chap
Then this guy, I really like his head
Last but not least this fella, finished not very long ago.
I am gong to turn them into little Easter gifts, there are a few ways of doing it, and I am still thinking about it, but I am itching to finish them, having said that if I may need to order some fabric so I am going to have to wait for that to arrive.

They are lovely, cross stitch is something I've never tried, but it looks fab when finished. Maybe thats something new for me to try this year.
Cute little chicks. Can't wait to see what you turn them into.
Hugs,
Sharon
Thanks Joy, oh yes give it a try and see what you think, it's not the fastest craft in the world or at least not for me, but I really think it's worth doing.
Thanks Sharon x
What cheeky chaps. Looking forward to seeing the final Easter creation.
Have you seen &stitches? I have just found it. It's an ezine with lots of embroidery patterns. Looks fun. Haven't bought a copy but if I do I'll let you know what it's like.

Jille xx
Thanks Clare, no I haven't seen & stitches, I haven't done embroidery since school and we didn't do much there, but i would like to have a go, so let me know what it's like x
Thanks Jille, I really enjoying doing them :)
oh these guys are so sweet! I love the patterns on them, great job!
If you fancy doing more modern cross stitch, I can recommend Cross Stitcher magazine. I have an extra copy of January's issue as they messed around with my subscription, told me it wasn't coming, I went and bought it and then they sent it! Do you want it?
Oh Wendy that's so nice of you thank you, but I have a sub to cross stitcher, I do like some of the modern things they are putting in there.
