Home

As you can see I'm home safe and sound, oh my what a few days that was, just getting there was an ordeal, the snow started Thursday night and it was snowing when we left we had booked a taxi and night before, the traffic was bad, and it took about 45 minutes to get there.

Luckily my treatment had turned up, which can be a problem in the bad weather, I was checked and passed well enough for treatment, another hurdle, once I was sure it was all going to go ahead, I got hubby to leave to get home, by then they had taken the taxi's off the road, so he had no choice to go by public transport. it took him 3 hours 15 minutes to get home.

There was a phone in my room and I was getting calls from friends telling me they wouldn't be going anything this weekend either they couldn't even get their cars off the drive and even people who did that, didn't mean they could get to the main road, because the side roads are so bad. I think we need a few lessons from place like Canada, on how not to grind to a standstill just because of some snow, even while in there it was still snowing, and I worried how I was going to get home Monday, when the time came getting home wasn't too bad at all, although taxi's were in high demand, we ended up taking a neurosurgeon with us in our taxi because he needed to be the other side of town, which was close to us and his car had given up this morning,

I am very glad to be home, and I hope treatment doesn't have to be repeated, anytime soon, but I will deal with that as and when that times arrives.

I am feeling quite tired and will need a little time until I am feeling more like myself, I think craft is just the thing I need to help me along,

Hope you all had a good and happy crafting weekend,

Glad you were able to get your treatment and that you are back home safely. Crafting will be just the thing for mending. Take care of yourself and let yourself mend properly.

Hugs,
Sharon

glad to hear it went well and is all over. Typical that the snow should hit so badly just at the time you needed to get somewhere! I hope you're recoveringnicely now.
